Living in the country is a great way of life for some. Establishing yourself in a country flat gives a sense of freedom all in itself. You may find yourself calling many locations since some will list exactly what they offer while some won’t. There are sites and agencies that offer assistance but be careful, there are also many scammers so as hard as it might be, going it alone may be best.
The internet is still a good tool even if you do not use online rental agencies; it is easy for persons to post ads online so many will. Keep in mind that you may have to do things the old fashion way. As you move around look out for places with “for rent” signs and check to see if any matches your criteria.
Once you find somewhere that matches your list try to negotiate the monthly amount. It is already a cheap flat but if you can bargain your way out of paying the price set why not do it? Most owners may stick to their guns; especially now, but ‘nothing tried, nothing done’.

The place where students stayed while studying medicine was usually a community where everyone seemed to be a family. The difference of the suites just lied with how grand they appeared. He got a flat just below mine, actually. I liked the place because the landlord did not set curfew hours unlike in other flats. It also has good running water.
The shower looks good to me. I could cook. I have a large wardrobe cabinet. I also have two study tables. My bed was large and it could be occupied by my whole family anytime they came for visit. The flat rent was, fortunately, cheaper than the others. I just needed to give the landlord a total of twelve postdated checks for twelve months. It meant that I have to pay a whole year already. Aside from that, the landlord was a nice guy. He was also a physician teaching in the university. He was always ready to help whenever I have problems like leaks from the roof and when I forgot the key inside the apartment. He was very reasonable.
He did not increase the flat rent for the entire four years that I stayed. That was a reason why I liked the flat very much. There were people who were asking me to transfer to other flat, or to join them in their houses, but I have loyalty to where I had started. Anyway, it was in my flat where the class party was usually held. There was a good view of the mountain side and the river ahead. Some people even came up to the veranda to take a look. Actually, my little sisters loved playing dolls in the veranda whenever they came to visit. They found the view very alluring. It also made studying a little lighter and less stressful.
As we always tell our children, “First find out what you like to do in life, and then figure out how to make money at it.” There are more or less 13 ways to make money in real estate, in terms of both strategies and specific sub professions within the industry. Don’t be daunted by this large menu of choices. You need to find only one that works for you in order to be successful.
